Read Travel officially opened its doors for business on October 1, 2006. Operating the business from his home is Michael "Mike" Read. Before opening his own agency, for 14 years Mike was the manager of Corey Travel, which for many years was a member of Santo Tours Presidents Club, and after that a member of Funjet Vacations exclusive "500 Club".

During that time Mike has made many contacts throughout the world of leisure travel, with an expertise in Las Vegas and the Caribbean. Over the years Read Travel has become the licensed Casino Marketing Representative for Harrah's Hotels & Casinos in Nevada. This includes Harrah's, Caesar's, Bally's, Paris, Flamingo, Rio Suites, and Imperial Palace in Las Vegas, as well as the properties in Laughlin, Reno, and Lake Tahoe, Nevada. We also represent Harrah's in New Orleans.
